It's a Good Friday

Well, a lot and little has happened this week.  Our workshop is almost up and running (yay!) I am so happy about the prospects of getting some these ideas out of my head, and showing off some Bryan's creations.

Starting today, I will be creating and posting treasuries that I have created for a new Etsy team, Ingenuity, I am excited to be a part of this team, and looking forward to seeing it grow.

This is were you can find Ingenuity:

Whew... that's alot :)  Now, without further ado...

Treasured Thursday - First Edition

On Fridays, I post the treasuries that I have done for Team Madcap's treasury team.  In addition to that, I was giving a shout out to the treasuries that Feath & Kee has been included in.  This has evolved into what you are seeing in today's post.  I want to try and devote a little more time and space to these treasuries, their curators, and what they do. I am not sure if I will be able to keep this up, but I will try, and we will see how it goes. :)

Feath & Kee had two items that were included in treasuries this past week.

First up

Sunny Day Fund - Hand Painted Jar
This Jar was included in the treasury "Where is Mister Golden Sunshine?" created by Cathy at CJ YummiesCathy creates beautiful fused glass items.  I had a little trouble picking out an item to share, but decided on this bright plate

Circus colorful fused glass sushi dish, white with bright colors, geometric shapes

3.22.13

Friday is here again.  I am frantically trying to pull this post together at the last minute since blogger decided to flake out on me.  I just hope that I remember everyone and get everything where it needs to go.  Advice to anyone trying to keep up a blog with limited time - write and back up your drafts in Word, notepad etc. then copy and paste. :)  Enough griping, and on to the fun stuff.

First up, are my two Team Madcap tresuries for the week:

The first treasury is .  I think that the items in the first treasury would bring out a smile in anyone.  I can personally say that the Easter Rubber Ducky soaps are awesome. I just wish that I could try everything here!  I guess that is kind of what treasuries are for though. :)  I hope that you enjoy perusing these two treasuries as much as I enjoyed putting them together.

"A Little Help for the Easter Bunny"

The second treasury is steam punk inspired.  Very neat and interesting items.

"Steam"

The following items from Feath & Kee have been included in treasuries.

Hand Dyed Green Headband with White Flower was included in the following treasuries...

Rainy Day Fund 1 Painted Glass Jar in Blues with Rain Drops was included in...

Follow the Yellow Brick Road - Hand Painted Sign was included in...

That wraps it up for this week.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

3.15.2013

We made it to another Friday!!! Things are going well at Feath & Kee.  We have survived Spring Break :).  We have had a few items included in treasuries this week. Yay!  I really enjoyed all of these, and am happy that Feath & Kee was included.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road has been receiving a lot of love. Most recently from Kathy at Bay Moon Design (very lovely handmade cards and jewelry to be found there by the way.) included our sign in her Oz inspired Etsy treasury Flying Monkey from the Wizard of Oz

Also, Marilyn of Beach Sea Crafts (wonderful beach inspired jewelry!) included one of our hand dyed headbands in her treasury Vintage and More.

Sharon from Lilac Cottage Cards & Gifts (unique hand stamped cards, journals, checkbook covers, etc.) included a personal favorite of mine, hand dyed headband, with red pom pom, in her lovely treasury, March FInds in Red.

Eleanna  from ElenLovelyCollection (unique up-cycled bags and jewelry) included Rainy Day Fund in her treasury just a pair of shoes..

Now for this weeks Team Madcap treasuries......  :)

I had a lot of fun with this first one.  I stumbled upon GolightlyHeadwear, where I saw this awesome bunny hat, and decided then and there I would do a treasury with just bunnies. :)

Bunnies Bunnies Everywhere!

The second treasury for this week, centers around items for a Spring or Summer celebration.

A Casual Affair

So until next week....

3.8.2013

Congratulations everyone on having made it through another week!  Spring is here-- maybe not officially, but all the same...  Here at Feath & Kee, we are enjoying the "nice" weather while we can.  The blazing 100+ weather is just around the corner.  However, it is March, and St. Patrick's Day is Sunday, which means Green Potatoes (mashed potatoes with cooked, chopped kale mixed in) i.e. Colcannon and soda bread.

This week's Team Madcap treasuries are St. Patrick's Day inspired as well.
First up, is You'll Need Luck On Your Side

Second, is Emerald is it. I love green!

In other Feath & Kee news, Follow the Yellow Brick Road Follow the Yellow Brick Road - Hand Painted Sign was included in the Etsy treasury We're off to see the wizard by Kris and Doug at StudioHen.

3.1.2013

It is Friday again.  There is so much going on, that hopefully will be ready to share soon.  Today I am sharing two treasuries that I created for the It's A Madcap Life treasury team.  My grandmother passed away this week, and these were done in her honor.  The world is a dimmer place without her.
