St. Patrick's Day is almost here!  So we have a green outfit this week.  Every item except for the boots are from TEMPT Team members on Etsy.  Today is also International Women's Day.  All of the featured items today come from small businesses that are owned or co-owned by women.

How to Wear it Wednesday 6.1.16

Hi guys!  Not only is this the first day of June, it also happens to be the first week of Summer Vacation for us.  This has put me in the mind to put together a Summer outfit.  Everything featured this week is from TEMPT Team members (awesome group of people) on Etsy. Reclaimed Wood Key Chain from Feath & Kee

The item from our shop this week is a positive message key chain that really just took on a shape and form of it's own. After burning the design, it really seemed to be missing something, so I added a light stain of acrylic paint.

Cutoffs from AbiDashery

These cutoff shorts from AbiDashery were made from a pair of thrifted jeans.  Abi has distressed and dip dyed them for a truly custom pair of shorts.

Crochet Tote from Loopy Chic Crochet

What a better way to gear up for Summer, than with the Life's A Beach candle from Penelope & Lou. The intricate swirls and curls of this pendant from Karen J Jewelry have been made from oxidized copper.  I don't believe it would be possible to replicate this one of a kind piece.  It comes with a leather cord.

Motivation TEMPTation Treasuries March 13,2016 - March 19,2016

I have mentioned before, that I am a leader for TEMPT Team on Etsy.  This is a great group of people who work hard to promote each other.  One of my favorite games, is Motivation TEMPTation.  Each week, the winning shop from the previous week chooses an item from their shop to be the "Motivation" item for the next week.  Team members then create collections, or treasuries featuring that item.  At the end of the week, the previous week's winner has to choose the winning treasury.

Last week, the featured item was a really neat vintage pipe from More The Buckles.  They chose my treasury, "Rustic / Wood Finds" as the winner.  So since St. Patrick's Day is Thursday, I chose this pair of wooden earrings.  They are made from recycled wood, and I love the glittery emerald paint.

This week, is a week of firsts...

Every week up to this one, has only featured items that are either handmade or up-cycled.  This week I have a mix of handmade and vintage items that also all happen to be from TEMPT Team members.

TEMPT Team is an Etsy promotions team where I am happy to say that I am a team leader.  This is a great group of people who really enjoy helping each other out and seeing their team mates succeed.  We recently celebrated our first birthday, and I can't wait to see what the next year has in store.

With Halloween and the parties that go on, I put together an outfit that will carry you through with style and fun.

The inspiration item from our shop this week, is this pair of wooden heart earrings.  I cut these out and sanded them by hand so while they are very similar, each earring is unique in it's own right.
